Omor....e shock me too
Take your health seriously
You know there’s that phrase where they say we’re all dead bags walking?
Yeah, that’s not far from the truth.
On Tuesday, I felt a sharp headache in the late hours of the morning. I tried sleeping but I couldn’t. I just couldn’t.
So I went out and hoped everything cools. But by evening, it was till the same.
I then decided to see a doctor. When I told her I have headache and couldn’t sleep, she decided to measure my pressure.
To our shock, I was running on 145!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My blood pressure was 145?!!
In case you need context
A “normal” blood pressure range for adults is generally:
Normal: about 120/80 mmHg
Elevated: 120–129 systolic and less than 80 diastolic
High blood pressure (hypertension):
Stage 1: 130–139 systolic or 80–89 diastolic
Stage 2: 140 or higher systolic or 90 or higher diastolic
And I was on 145.
I went, well, maybe because I had just finished eating or something, that I wasn’t going to be worried till I retest the following day.
So, I went to retest yesterday, and I was still on 145.
Now I got worried.
I had hypertension, but I swear to God, I felt normal.
If the headache hadn’t told me, only God knows.
I’m getting better now but I’m still above normal - 137, then 129.
Hoping to get back to 118.
The crazy part of it wasn’t that I had ‘HYPERTENSION’ or that I don’t also know what triggered it, the crazy part was that I didn’t know I had it at all.
And if someone told me that I’ll have it at my age, I’d never have believed them.
So, to you reading this, please check your health and take it seriously.
Some things may be going on inside you may not be aware of.
Please, check yourself out.
That’s the point of this.
Please do.
Com toda a humildade,
Precious.

Checking mine tomorrow immediately. Jesus.
Oh my God. Please get rested
